100 Footer Rules and Regulations

1. HAVE FUN - the purpose of these events is for everyone's enjoyment - the spectators, as well as yours and ours. Sportsmanlike conduct is expected at all times!!!
2. All competitors must show us their valid driver's license.
3. All vehicle occupants must wear a helmet during competiton.
4. All vehicle occupants must wear seat belts.
5. Event organizers reserve the right to refuse or revoke admission privileges as they see fit.
6. BE PREPARED to follow instructions from on-site personnel regarding all on-track procedures. If not, see rule #5.
7. The organizing committee will settle all disputes. All decisions will be final.
8. NO IMPAIRED DRIVING - any competitor suspected of being intoxicated will be ejected. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
9. SAFETY FIRST - all competitor vehicles will gbe required to pass a safety inspection before competing.
10. ALL competitors will sign a waiver indemnifying the organizers of all loss or damage, however caused.
11. NO STUNTING - save your burnouts for ON the track. Inappropriate driving behaviour in the pit area or parking area will not be tolerated!
12. Only one passenger allowed (no one under the age of 12 allowed).


Class Structure - NEW!

All vehicles in the championship classes must be insured and registered, and competitors may be required to complete a road course.

In response to participant request, Classes are now defined by the number of performance-adding components found on the vehicle.

The list of identified performance adders is as follows:

Modified wheel tubs = 2 performance adders (vehicles without wheel wells will be considered to be tubbed if they are equipped with tires wider than 10.5 inches).

100 Footer Championship Circuit

Would you like to participate in our points championship throughout the other participating towns in Alberta? Let us know when you arrive at the event, and we'll sign you up!

Points will be awarded at each event for competing, for each run started, and for final position in each respective class. Points will be awarded as follows:

Vehicle register a time at event75 points
Each qualifying run started at event25 points
1st place in class of 50 participants50 points
2nd place in class of 50 participants49points
3rd place in class of 50 participants48 points

Points will be tallied throughout the season, and prizes will be awarded for top positions in each class at the final event of the season.

Tech Tips

  • Owners and drivers are responsible to ensure the vehicles they operate are safe!
  • Unless specified otherwise, ALL VEHICLES MUST be insured and registered! Competing vehicles may be required to complete a road test to prove road-worthiness prior to competition.
  • Remove all clutter from inside the vehicle, including driver's floor mat.
  • Vehicles must have functional seat belts.
  • Make sure all fasteners are tight - all lug nuts, battery hold-downs, seats, etc MUST be secure!
  • Brakes - how obvious is this? We WILL check to see that your vehicle has adequate braking.
  • Tires - again, please use common sense.
  • Vehicles must have a radiator overflow jug.
  • Vehicles must not leak any fluids onto the racing surface.
  • In addition to these items, tech officials will check for other miscellaneous safety hazards.
